Overall i give these a top rating due to the nice taste and soft easy to chew texture and would recommend the chocolate chip cookie dough version to anyone who loves chocolate and cookies and cream flavoured protein snacks as an alternative.Legal Disclaimer While we try ensure that product information is correct, on occasion manufacturers may alter their ingredient lists. These bars taste very similar to real cookie dough but are lower in sugar and fat which makes them more suitable for consumption on a regular basis and not just as part of a cheat meal, i like the strong buttery taste that these provide with the combination of rich chocolate chunks which make these quite moreish and very easy to keep eating on a regular basis. The Cookie Dough version is one i recommend going for if you are new to these protein bars due to it being quite strong and sweet without becoming sickly allowing for these to be eat on a regular basis to allow for protein requirements to be met during a range of my bulking, cutting and recomping based phases, i have tried a range of these protein bars and find these newer versions to taste even better than the older ones and are not as sticky which makes them easier to chew through. ![]() Calorie breakdown: 27 fat, 39 carbs, 34 protein. If you are after some of the best tasting cookies and cream protein bars on the market that are also low in carbs then i have to recommend going for these ones from Quest as one of the best options. There are 190 calories in 1 bar (60 g) of Quest Coconut Cashew Protein Bar. These also include awesome white chocolate chunks which make these work well to fight off my chocolate cravings during my reduced calorie, reduced sugar fat loss based dieting phases. I went for the cookies & cream flavour a couple of years back when these bars had a much different texture to them and used IMO Syrup or VitaFiber which provided them with a very sweet taste but made them very chewy and sticky which was the only downside to the original quest bars, these newer versions have been re-formulated and now use Soluble Corn Fibre which i feel provides them with a nicer texture, these are still quite sweet and include awesome real cookie pieces which add crunchiness to the texture and make these awesome to have as a clean protein based snack when craving something more sweet than regular high protein based shakes and meals. ![]()
